The Technology Behind
The modular sound system communicates using state-of-the-art near-field induction technology. This ensures that the signal is distributed between the units without any losses and with high data integrity. The aiFi system uses a high carrier frequency in order to transmit the data in a timely manner across several hundred units.

With our professional background we surely do not go cheap on the analog line in function. There is a high-grade input stage that can handle any source with ease. Using that together with top-of-the-line ADC converters and a 192kHz/24bit digital sound processor, nothing gets in the way of the performance you are enjoying.

The input is also an optical SPDIF input that accepts PCM signals up to 192kHz/24bit. This is primarily to enable TVs that do not have any other sound output. But it also enables the aiFi speaker to double as a high-grade DAC to optimize the performance of your desktop sound. You decide how many to stack. It sounds Great Alone, but even Better Together.

User Interface
To the right on the back, there are three touch sense control areas. From top down there is the power button that takes the unit into operational mode when pushed for 3 seconds. Next is the middle button that puts the speaker in BT pairing mode when you want to pair with a new phone. At the bottom is the line/BT select function. Sliding your finger from bottom to top increases volume, sliding from top to bottom decreases volume.
